I have been saying for years I need to write a book; my family is a series of books alone, not to mention all my interesting experiences in the workplace, government programs, etc. You have given me inspiration to actually DO IT!
I am 64 years old, still working in 3 different fields, hobbies galore and busy in my church and with my grandchildren. Thank you for your inspiring words.

I am also interested in writing a book, but I do not know where to start. Thanks!

I have written at least 3 books but I always get writers block halfway through. How do I overcome this so I may finish and do what it is I love so much. Write.

I was lead to this site by answering an ad posted in craigslist. So glad to find this site! I also have many books inside of me. One in particular I know I am supposed to write but have hesitated because I am not an “expert” in the field. You have given me not only the inspiration to proceed but also ideas in how I may find an audience for my work. Another book I am supposed to write had come to a standstill because I did not know how to gather the information. What a wonderful idea to advertise on craigslist! Thank you so much for sharing your world!

I have always been interested in writing but always seem to find an excuse not to start…
There seems to be void in my life and I truly think is due to lack of expression on a written level. So many experiences to share…how can I find my muse…

I too am a published writer. I have so many ideas that I want to get started on and finished myself.
Do you promote yourself or do you have an agent? That is the area I need to work on, promotion. Good luck! I answered your survey too.

I filled out your posting for your divorce book. Their is so much I have to say about my life that I screwed up. I have a interest in reading your book when it comes out. Maybe I could learn something to help myself down the road. I am a broken man due to the mistakes I made in my youth. Please be in touch. thanks Cole

It was after submitting the survey regarding your questions for the divorce book that led me here. Great website for aspiring authors. I felt that to be true to the survey though, I must confess to having been married four times, so your data is only going to reflect the first divorce and omits the other three. Reply if you are interested in acquiring any additional information that may help.

Hi, I find your website to be a profound ‘kick to the a$$’ as I have wanted to write a book for quite some time. I love to read and have many funny, sad, questionable and rotten things to write about that I have experienced. I connect with my friends and even strangers but haven’t had time to go back to school to persue learning in a non-hectic environment. I want to thank you! I signed up for your survey concerning ’speaking to people who knew BEFORE the got married that their marriage would end in divorce’.. I know I would be a great person for you to speak with. I look forward to hopefully hearing from you! Many well wishes!!!

There was a time when I had the desire to write a book & felt the need to get my memoirs out there. I have kept a journal for many years & have boxes filled with notebooks which may someday incriminate me! There was a time when my counselor/therapist suggested that I compile my journals into book form. However, not only do I lack the discipline to take on such a project I have yet to discover what the real objective would be. Obviously no one is interested in the biography of an unknown…..the journaling has & still is serving its’ main purpose as my venting device! If I thought my writings could help anyone, that might be reason enough, but most people seem to want to learn their own hard lessons from experience. Besides, my personal journey is not so extraordinary, there’s always someone out there who had one up on me & could tell it much better I’m sure. Unfortunately the question in my mind remains, what do I do with all those notebooks secretly packed away…….mostly in terms of after I am gone from this planet.
